Fateh Singh Rathore Memorial Lecture

Our founder, the late Sh. Fateh Singh Rathore, worked all his life to establish the Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve as a world-renowned protected area for tigers. After his passing in 2011, a memorial lecture was added to the Wildlife Conservation Awards, and this became a way to acknowledge Fatehji’s legacy.

Note:

1. In 2021, the Fateh Singh Rathore Award and Memorial Lecture were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2. Dr. Vidya Atreya was the invited keynote speaker for the 2024 event; however, due to rain, her lecture could not be delivered.
